Glass Bateo

Among the many novelties of #SAAI24, there will also be the Glass Bateo, presented at the Venice Glass Week 2024 #AWorldOfGlass. The Glass Bateo (designed by the Consorzio Promovetro Murano in collaboration with the City of Venice, Vela Spa and Actv and supported by the Veneto Region and the Chamber of Commerce of Venice Rovigo) will be moored inside the Arsenale of Venice in front of Tese 89 – 90 – 91 for the entire duration of the Italian High Craftsmanship Fair.

An experience to discover Murano glass through a vaporetto set up to host events, meetings, and demonstrations. Inside, visitors can admire a selection of objects made by companies licensed with the Vetro Artistico® Murano Brand to celebrate the craftsmanship of Murano’s furnaces and their universal and dynamic art.

Inside the Glass Bateo, visitors of #SAAI24 will be able to admire a selection of objects made by companies licensed with the Vetro Artistico® Murano Brand. This exhibition will celebrate the craftsmanship of Murano’s furnaces and their dynamic and universal art. The project also reflects a strong focus on sustainability, using materials of natural origin or secondary raw materials for the vaporetto’s setup, promoting a message of safeguarding the environment and the lagoon ecosystem, in continuity with other initiatives promoted by the Consorzio Promovetro Murano.”
