Material, form, and color: in sculpture, material expresses color in all its natural beauty; it evokes the forms of an Angel, and the Hand of the art of music.
The hand of the sculpture ‘Igor Stravinsky in Venice,’ housed at the Scuola Grande di San Rocco, is exhibited as an evocation of music and the creative act. The color of the material and the form of the sculpture remind us that the human being is material, form, and spirit.

ANGEL made of Verona marble and copper with a base in green Guatemala marble.
HAND ‘Igor Stravinsky in Venice’ made in Murano glass using lost-wax casting, with a marble base.
Luisa Cioffi, a sculptor with a degree in Sculpture from the Academy of Fine Arts of Venice with top honors, has designed and created numerous works for churches and sacred places, including the ‘Baptism of Jesus’ and the red Verona marble ambo for the Church of San Lorenzo Giustiniani, the sculpture ‘Igor Stravinsky in Venice’ in Murano glass using lost-wax casting, housed at the Scuola Grande di San Rocco, and the leaded glass window of the Evangelists for the Church of the Holy Trinity. For over twenty years, she has been designing and producing exhibitions, installations, with solo exhibitions in Italy and abroad. Her works and creations are present in Italy, France, Germany, Saudi Arabia, and Japan.
